Frequently asked questions about wedding videos:

Q: Why have a wedding video?

A: There are certain moments of your wedding that you won't be able to see, because you simply can't be in more than one place at a time, unless you have a video. Photographs are wonderful memorabilia. But a video can completely transport you back to your wedding day, capturing the atmosphere, sound and movement. Kat from Rock N Roll Bride gives her opinion on the subject.

Q: How long will the video be?

A: You will receive a highlights video, cut to music, between 5 and 10 minutes long, and a long cut between 15-20 minutes long, depending on your day. The best of the speeches will be included in the long cut, if they suit the narrative, if not, they will be included separately. It is important to edit in a way that is complementary to the images and narrative, but don't worry, you won't miss anything- any shots which are keepers but don't make the cut will be put on the DVD as 'deleted scenes'.

Q: I have found several companies that are cheaper than Wagtail Productions, why is this?

A: We have set our prices so that they allow us to maintain excellent quality in our work e.g. having more than one camera so that shots can be nicely cut together,- giving a real 'filmic' feel, using the best equipment for your film, having back-up equipment to ensure complete reliability, and spending time on editing the films down to the detail.

Q: Can we discuss the options without being obliged to book?

A: Of course! Please contact us via our enquiry form, or alternatively you can email us at info@wagtailproductions.co.uk or give us a call on 07725685515

Q: Do you only do weddings?

A: We don't only do weddings. This means that we are able to constantly use our experience with larger scale projects such as music videos and feature films and apply the same professionalism and technical knowledge to making your wedding video top quality. See our list of services.

Q: Will you do shoots outside of the UK?

A: Absolutely! We love to travel!

Q: Won't it make me self-conscious to be filmed all the time?

A: A few couples we have filmed were initially concerned about feeling self-conscious, but they very soon forgot we were there, as we try to be as unintrusive as possible. In fact, a guest booked us for his own wedding because he featured in his friend's video several times and had no idea we were filming him.
