Having our wedding day filmed was something that I'd always hoped we'd be able to do. Initially my partner wasn't sure whether we needed a video as well as photographs, but when he saw the video that Ayla created he confessed that I'd been right (this doesn't happen often, so it's testament to Ayla's skills!).

I hunted for ages to find someone whose style we resonated with. I knew that a formulaic approach or long lingering shots of my shoes wouldn't be right for us, so I was super happy when I found Ayla and Wagtail Productions. I loved her eye and her way of bringing romance and heart to a film but without it being conventional or too soppy. It felt authentic.

The finished result gave exactly that. I know that some people worry about a videographer being too intrusive, especially with a photographer too, but that wasn't the case for us. It was discreet and lovely. I don't think our guests even noticed the day being filmed, but they certainly loved the results too.

Ayla was a pleasure to work with and when I watch our film it feels incredible. It's not just a chronology of the day, it's a piece of art which captures all of the details and all of the love. Thank you Ayla!

Ayla at Wagtail is a magician. She made a gorgeous video of our wedding, which has become the best memento of a very happy day.

We gave Ayla only three or four points of the kind of thing we'd like to see in a video and left the rest to her ample creativity. We and our guests are thrilled at the result. She produced a video with great cinematography and awesome shots, sequencing and sound. It really captured the feeling of the day.

Ayla herself is a pleasure to work with. She and her photographer David were great fun to have around on the day and to work with before and after the day.

Definite recommend.

Our package arrived (HOW beautiful!!) We can't really thank you enough. It's such an amazing piece of work and captures the day so perfectly and with such a great sense of story. We absolutely loved seeing all our friends and family caught having so much fun, dancing and hanging out, and it was a real treat for us to watch those little moments that we'd missed back. Really, really amazing work, we couldn't be happier with it. You are such an amazing talent and it's just soooooo beautiful. I know Simon wants to write to you as well to thank you (and mention more technical things that he was so amazingly impressed by).

We honestly can't thank you enough. We're both so, so pleased that we decided to have a wedding video, and that we were lucky enough to have you able to do it for us - it's such a special and beautiful keepsake from the day. I could watch it all day long!

From the moment I contacted Ayla till the time we received our pics, she was hugely warm, informative and professional. Ayla was fantastic with our new-born son and we love the way she captured our everyday life so naturally and beautifully. She travelled over 100 miles to us and spent over 4 hours capturing our family with some excellent creative ideas and a great eye for detail. We couldn't be happier, thank you Ayla! x

Little Maya & family

We have had two photo shoots with Ayla of Wagtail Productions now and have been thrilled with the photos from both. The first was a baby shoot with me, my husband, and our daughter, who was 8 months at the time, and the second was a family shoot, with my parents and sister included, with my daughter at 19 months. The shoots are relaxed and stress-free and we are so pleased with the photos from both. Highly recommended.

Incredible! What a talent. Ayla truly captured the vibes of the day and really took us back to each moment. Have already watched it 10 times in 24 hours! The music she chose went so well with the footage and was timed to perfection. You could tell the final edit had so much thought put into every second.
