If so, what is the style of the marquee?
Please describe if your venue has window light and what colours and types of lighting you plan to have in the evening
Please do let us know if you have or will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement with your venue or you anticipate any restrictions on camera placement and movement by your venue. (We always strive to be unobtrusive, regardless.)
Do not worry, we are very good at creating natural moments. If you are someone who is not comfortable in front of the camera, we are the team for you.
Tell us about the experience you want to have at your wedding and how you'd like your video to capture that.
Please tell us something about EACH of you. I'll start... I'm Ayla and I'm a videographer and photographer. I am part English, part Turkish and part Dutch. I was born in Suffolk; I used to live in Venice as an au pair, worked in the Film & TV industry in London and now I live by the sea in Essex. I've driven from London to Rome and back on my own a few times, passing through as many countries as possible. I'm a whippet lover but my job means I am not able to have a dog. For me, the best part of filming weddings is the people and that's why it's really important to me to make a connection with my couples. I am a humanist. I love to salsa dance and can barely stay still whenever I hear that rhythm, which is problematic in Nandos. I play the banjo, although not so much since I've been running Wagtail Productions. I really dislike central lights on in the living room. I hate it when people are unaware of their privileged position in society. I often follow small talk by something a lot more serious. As you may have come to realise, I am a lover of list making.
Here's a few of mine: Lost in Translation, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Amelie, The Great Beauty, Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, When Harry Met Sally, Casablanca, Away We Go, Three Billboards (Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and Volver.
I love Bon Iver, Woodkid, Rodriguez, London Grammar, Pearl Jam, Nina Simone, Metallica, Amy Winehouse, Tom Rosenthal, Kings of Leon, John Butler Trio, Max Richter, Cat Power, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Lana Del Rey, Zero 7, Mumford & Sons, Black Keys, Janis Joplin, Angus & Julia Stone. It's really hard to stop there!
If so, who's one of your favourite comedians? I love Bill Bailey, Eddie Izzard (old stuff), Russel Kane and Tim Minchin
