Everywhere I point my camera is just beautiful warm stone walls and roses, quaint country roads and that’s before you even start filming the venues. At Wagtail Productions, we believe your wedding film should be unique, deeply resonating with you and your day, not confined by set styles. We take the time to understand what draws you to your venue, capturing those elements in your film to evoke the same emotions you felt when you first visited.
For instance, a recent bride shared her love for the approach to Sezincote House and Gardens—a long track over the estate that reveals the stunning, unexpectedly Indian-inspired manor house. I arranged to be driven back to the top of the entrance so I could film the grand reveal. Their wedding film opens with tree canopies passing overhead as we drive, the autumn sunlight breaking through, slowly panning down to reveal the tree-lined driveway and the house nestled amongst ancient trees. This tailored approach ensures your Cotswolds wedding film captures the unique story and setting of your day, making it truly unforgettable.

HIGHLIGHT COLLECTION

We typically start filming an hour before the ceremony or 8 hours before your first dance, which ever makes most sense with your schedule.

We will make our way around your wedding, adapting, to stealthy capture different angles of your ceremony and find the moments between people which make your film so personal.

Focusing on the key moments of your day, this edit will lead you from your ceremony to your first dance. The result is a powerful edit with only the most impactful shots chosen.

Speeches in Full: We produce a multi camera edit of the wonderful words said on your day, complete with reaction shots which really add to the impact. In our experience, speeches vary hugely in length and number of speakers from wedding to wedding. So, we have introduced a customisable pricing structure, meaning you only pay according to the number of speeches.
Extra Coverage: If you expect the first dance to begin later than 7 hours after the ceremony, you may add coverage by the hour. We will go through the schedule in great detail prior to the wedding to ensure we know the moments that are most important to you. The option of extra coverage gives you peace of mind, just knowing that it's all going to be captured without you clock watching.
Wedding photography: We include our favourite film stills with all our collections. This is a lovely little bonus. However, if you would like to add dedicated wedding photography to your collection, we offer a combined video and photo package.
SHORT FILM COLLECTION

We typically start filming an hour before the bride goes into the make up chair. This allows us to shoot the beautiful details of the venue. If both preparation locations are not logistically close, then we will have a cinematographer with each.

We operate a 2 camera set-up, allowing us to capture different angles of the ceremony and split to cover simultaneous events when needed.

Focusing on the key moments of your day, this edit will lead you from the buzz of anticipation in your preparations to your first dance as a married couple. The result is a powerful edit with elements of story from a Full Feature edit and pace like our Highlight edit.

FEATURE FILM COLLECTION

From prep to party. We typically start filming an hour before the bride goes into the make up chair. This allows us to shoot the beautiful details of the venue. If bridal and groom prep is not logistically close, then we will have a cinematographer with each.

There may be 3 of us but this allows us to be even more discreet during the ceremony. We operate a 3 camera set up, allowing us to capture reactions with minimal movement and stay out of the immediate ceremony area, space dependent.

This is a great complement to the feature edit and is easily shareable with friends and family online.

We are really able to tell your story in full, to introduce dialogue, to make you laugh, and to make you cry.

These are clips that we really want you to have, but don't fit into your edit. It can be anything from Prosecco induced antics, a clip of the band with the live music, or a ceremony reading. We do it this way because it ensures we don't have to crow bar into the edit something that doesn't fit the natural flow of the story but neither do we have to leave it out completely for you never to see. You will find the Deleted Scenes under the Bonus Features section on your Interactive video menu.
