Family Photoshoot on the Beach

For this beautiful family session, we began at home, capturing playful moments with their toddler before heading to Sandymouth Bay Beach in Devon for a relaxed walk with their dog. When it comes to family portraits with babies and toddlers, it’s all about keeping things natural and comfortable. Capturing children in their own environment, or in open spaces like a beach, allows for the most genuine, candid moments to unfold.

The wide-open space of the beach worked perfectly, giving the toddler room to explore while the family enjoyed the walk together. Their dog, of course, was a big part of the fun, adding warmth and liveliness to the session. Dogs are such an important part of the family, and capturing those bonds alongside the joy of a little one’s curiosity makes for photos you’ll treasure for years to come.
