Chic and Understated Mayfair Wedding featuring a Bespoke Erdem Bridal

Hannah & Richard - Mayfair, London - Wedding Videography

Hannah and Richard’s sophisticated London wedding combined understated luxury with timeless elegance and a hint of Old Hollywood glamour. After 12 years, 3 kids, and countless memories, they decided to get married at their brand new family home in London. If that wasn’t special enough, Hannah walked down the aisle in a bespoke Erdem gown, at one of the city's most spectacular cathedrals, Farm Street Church in Mayfair. In the video, you’ll see she arrives at the top of the alter steps, yet her gorgeous train is still floating down the aisle. Despite being one of the hottest days of the year, the celebration remained effortlessly chic and deeply personal.

A Quintessentially English Wedding with an Old Holywood Glamour

This quintessentially English wedding, with an Old Hollywood glamour twist, saw Hannah and Richard begin their celebrations at Claridge’s, the epitome of elegance and luxury. After a beautiful cathedral ceremony, the couple led their guests to their private residence in Wimbledon, for an outdoor drinks reception. The whole day was planned by the fabulous Liz Linkleter and her events team and their impeccable attention to fashion trends can be seen in the details, such as incorporating striped seat pads that added a playful twist to the decor. Dinner, with a delicate pastel colour pallet of summer flowers, dancing amongst the table candles. A Sperry tent was set up in the garden, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere where family and friends gathered to celebrate their long-awaited union, where Richard won a cheer from the room as he said “Hannah, my darling... I’m so sorry it took so long!” Hannah looked absolutely radiant in her bespoke Erdem gown—a personal touch made even more special as the designer is married to Richard’s brother.

Before the day, we discussed with Hannah what was important to her in their wedding film and she expressed how nostalgic she feels, looking back at her childhood footage and how aware she is of how her own children will be doing that too. Therefore, we decided a black and white vintage film look was appropriate for select parts of her main film and features throughout her wedding film trailer.

We aimed to create a wedding film that was original, romantic, and fun—just like their day. We're proud to say we achieved just that. As their wedding planner Liz Linkleter put it, ‘Their film is original, romantic, fun, and completely un-cheesy, which is hard to find in wedding land.

Upon receiving their wedding film, Hannah said “Aw Ayla, we are totally and utterly beside ourselves with how beautiful and amazing both films are. I have just spent the last hour sobbing again. You are so talented and we are in awe with how beautifully and perfectly you have captured the day for us. Thank you so so so very much. Your films (and Liz) are honestly the best money we spent on the entire wedding. We will watch it over and over again and I am so happy that the kids will have this to watch too, over the years. It was all so so perfect- we are blown away. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Both films are the most beautiful pieces of cinematography that we have ever seen. Thank you with all of our hearts.
